By accessing or using ChromaKit, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site. You do not need an account to use ChromaKit, and accepting these terms does not create one.
Description of the Service
ChromaKit is a free, browser-based color palette generator. All color generation — including palette creation, conversion, contrast checking and image color extraction — runs locally in your browser with JavaScript; nothing you do in the tools is processed on a server. The service is provided free of charge, as-is, and is described in more detail on our About page.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use ChromaKit only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes or otherwise interfere with the operation of the site, and you must not use the site or its output in any way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.
Intellectual Property
The design, code and text of this website belong to ChromaKit and may not be copied or republished without permission. Color values, palettes and hex codes that you generate with the tools are yours to use freely, including in commercial projects: color values themselves are not protectable by intellectual property law, and in any event we make no claim over your creations.
No Warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChromaKit will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or design work, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
Availability
We may modify, suspend or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. Palettes you save are stored only in your browser's localStorage, so we cannot recover them if they are cleared or lost — export anything you want to keep.

The site may link to third-party websites. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the content, availability or practices of those sites.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page with a new "last updated" date, and continued use of the site after posting means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the site operator's jurisdiction. ChromaKit is operated as a project without a designated legal entity, so we do not name a specific country here.
